We can divide animation in 5 forms:-
Another name of Traditional animation is Cell Animation. This requires a light box which helps the animator to draw every single frame by hand to create a sequence. It was the process used for most of the productions throughout the 20th century.
“2D” means two-dimensional space. This includes characters, creatures, FX and backgrounds. This is created by drawing the sequence together over time. Before it was used for films and cartoons but now the market has increased as most of the mobile games and TV commercials use this. This form of animation is cheaper than 3D animation. It is an all high time in demand. It’s expected that Netflix and Amazon Prime are going to invest a huge amount in animation soon.
3D means three-dimensional space.3D animation is the art of using motion to bring characters, props, and more to life for TV shows, movies and games. Some of the most used animation software are Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3Ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Brush, and Light Wave 3D.
